Although we are at 99% status prior to the release of iOS 6.x untethered JailBreak, but MuscleNerd from evad3rs has confirmed that you would be able to convert a tethered JailBreak into untethered using a debian file. It means that you would just need to install an app from Cydia if you want to convert your tethered JailBreak into untethered. However, it’s advised to update to latest firmware which is iOS 6.1 and use JailBreak untethered from the start.
For now, only A4 devices could be JailBroken tethered on iOS 6.1. All those who have already done that could use the upcoming JailBreak release for the conversion into untethered JailBreak. And rest of you who haven’t yet updated should go ahead and update your devices because iOS 6.1 untethered JailBreak is awaited in less than an hour. Previously, when iOS 5.x untethered JailBreak was released, iOS hackers had released something similar to convert tethered JailBreak into untethered.
If you use ultrasn0w, you should hold back until it’s updated as well. Are you looking forward to it? Let’s know your thoughts in comment section.
